11/14/07 - The Eighth performed their first show on Saturday, November tenth at Club Underground, a local venue, along with OBCT, Autonomy, and Kaligula. For a live debut they were received well with anticipation of future performances. Check the Media section for photos and video of the night. Thanks to the bands, Club Underground, Mr. Josh, and everyone who came out! The Eighth also is featured on a remix album. Fellow Twin Cities electronically-oriented band Thosquanta just released a free download-only remix album Young, Rich and Out of Control. "Lovelife (Regretful Threesome Mix)" also lists Dan "Boot" Bateman of OBCT/The Eighth and Sarah France of Avenpitch as guests. You can download the album at Thosquanta's record label, 301 Studios. What's coming next? Shawn's written about fifty-five minutes worth of new material, working on revamping the website, and figuring out how to improve on the live show.
